Subject: Problem of dirty water supply in our colony

Sir,

Through your newspaper, I want to draw the attention of the authorities to the bad condition of water supply in Santa Colony.

The water supplied in our area is dirty and muddy. Sometimes it smells very bad and is not safe for drinking. Because of this, many people are suffering from stomach pain and other diseases. The water supply is also irregular and comes only for a short time.

We have complained many times to the municipal office but no action has been taken yet. I request the authorities to solve this problem and provide clean and regular water supply.

Road Safety Movement

Recently I attended a seminar on Road Safety Movement organized by the Rotary Club in our district. The seminar was very useful and informative.

Many speakers talked about the growing number of road accidents. They said that over-speeding, careless driving and not following traffic rules are the main reasons for accidents.

They advised people to follow traffic rules carefully. They also told everyone to wear helmets and seat belts while driving.

The seminar helped people understand the importance of road safety. It reminded us that road safety is everyone’s responsibility.

If we follow traffic rules, we can save many lives.

Good morning respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends,

Today I would like to speak on the topic “Smoking: A Silent Killer.”

Smoking is a very harmful habit that affects many people. Cigarettes contain harmful chemicals like nicotine and tar which damage our lungs and body.

Smoking can cause serious diseases such as lung cancer, heart disease and breathing problems. It also harms people around the smoker.

Many young people start smoking because of friends or curiosity. Later it becomes a dangerous addiction.

So we should spread awareness about the harmful effects of smoking. Let us promise today to stay away from smoking and live a healthy life.
